Compromiso académico y síndrome de burnout en estudiantes de la Escuela Naval del Perú, 2018

Abstract

Este trabajo tuvo como objetivo general determinar la relación entre el compromiso académico y el burnout en cadetes de la Escuela Naval del Perú y como problema general ¿Cuál es la relación entre el compromiso académico y burnout en Cadetes de la Escuela Naval? La investigación es de tipo no experimental, transversal correlacional. El método que se utilizó en desde un enfoque cuantitativo-hipotético deductivo. La población está constituida por quinientos veintisiete Cadetes de la Escuela Naval del Perú, se tomó una muestra de cien Cadetes de Tercer año de dicha institución. Los instrumentos que se utilizaron fueron para la variable Burnout se aplicó la encuesta de Maslach Burnout Inventory del mismo autor. Para la variable compromiso académico se utilizó la escala Utrecht Work Engagement Scale de Wilmar Schaufeli y Arnold Bakker. Se aplicó el estadístico no paramétrico Rho de Spearman, donde se obtuvo un coeficiente de correlación baja de r= 0.109*, con una p=0.282 (p > 0.05) de esta manera se rechaza la hipótesis alterna. Por lo tanto, se rechaza la hipótesis de la investigación y se acepta la hipótesis nula.

The objective of this work was to determine the relationship between academic commitment and burnout in cadets of the Naval School of Peru and as a general problem. What is the relationship between academic commitment and burnout in Cadets of the Naval School? The research is of a non-experimental, cross-correlation type. The method that was used in from a quantitative-hypothetical deductive approach. The population is constituted by five hundred and twenty-seven Cadets of the Naval School of Peru, a sample of one hundred Third-year Cadets of said institution was taken. The instruments used were for the Burnout variable the Maslach Burnout Inventory survey of the same author was applied. The Utrecht Work Engagement Scale by Wilmar Schaufeli and Arnold Bakker was used for the academic commitment variable. The nonparametric statistic Rho of Spearman was applied, where a low correlation coefficient of r = 0.109 * was obtained, with a p = 0.282 (p> 0.05) in this way the alternative hypothesis was rejected. Therefore, the hypothesis of the investigation is rejected, and the null hypothesis is accepted.
